Frequently Asked Questions

How do credits work?
Credits are consumed as you interact with the AI interviewer. Each message uses a small number of credits based on the AI model you select. Standard (Claude Sonnet) uses 1 credit per 1K input tokens and 2 credits per 1K output tokens. Advanced (Claude Opus) uses 5× and 15× respectively. New accounts start with 1,000 free credits.
What is the difference between Real Interview and Training mode?
Real Interview mode simulates a timed 45-minute interview — the AI adapts its pacing and depth accordingly, and a countdown timer is shown. Training mode has no time limit and is designed for leisurely exploration of topics at your own pace.
Can I use the whiteboard during an interview?
Yes. The right-hand panel is an Excalidraw whiteboard. You can draw architecture diagrams, component trees, or data flow charts. When you click "Share Drawing", the current whiteboard state is exported as an image and attached to your next message for the AI to analyze.
How is my performance evaluated?
At the end of each session, the AI evaluates your full transcript across 6 dimensions: architecture quality, trade-off analysis, technical depth, communication clarity, scalability thinking, and practical awareness. You receive a score (1–10) and a hiring recommendation.
Can I resume an interrupted session?
Yes. If you close the browser mid-session, the session remains active. You can resume it from the dashboard. Your draft messages and whiteboard state are also preserved in browser local storage.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which you will revert to the free tier.
What happens when I run out of credits?
The AI will stop responding and you will see an out-of-credits prompt. You can upgrade your plan from the Billing page to get more credits immediately. Your session history and past evaluations are always accessible regardless of credit balance.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Your interview sessions are not used to train AI models. Your data is used solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
